Barbara joined J Folk & Associates in 1999 and is currently the senior personal lines broker in Calgary. Servicing clients needs since 1988 after graduating from Horizon College in Vancouver BC, Barbara specializes in Personal Lines Insurance, such as automobile and property coverage. Barbara is an active member of BNI (Business Networking International), a networking organization that strongly advocates that the best testimony a person can receive is a referral.

Barbara ' s philosophy is that each client is an individual and that understanding her clients individual needs is the key to providing the right coverage and as such, is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service, one client at a time.

Sandy's insurance career has come full circle at J. Folk. She began in the insurance industry 15 years ago as a receptionist at a local insurance brokerage. During this time she moved through various roles allowing her to gain valuable experience, she supplemented this experience with insurance courses to increase her knowledge. Since that time, she has held positions with increasing responsibilities at both an insurance company and an insurance wholesaler. Both of these stops were rewarding and now she is thrilled to be back on the brokerage side so she can once again deal directly with clients and help them meet their insurance needs.
